Revamp

Most of you know how google works, for those of you who don't here's a simple summary of everything. google has various algorithms that factor in what you type into the search box and brings up the most relevant information to you. thankfully, those algorithms work well, bringing us all our juiciest bits of information and some of our darkest fears. Well, and another thing, the pagerank system. Google takes into account the popularity of certain sites and this is called the "page rank". In laymen terms, that means the more popular < more view// unique clicks> the "blog" or "website" has, the higher up the search pages it will go. as of now, if you search my name, you'd see this blog on the first page! :D but as the 5th result. now i assure you, getting to #1 for something as obscure as a name is pretty easy, that is unless you're named after someone famous or your name is obama. why is it important to reach #1? well it gives your website much more visibility and ease of search, which relates to more visitors and in turn , ad revenue if your for-profit. in my case, i just want people to see that i'm the most famous one of my name. thats all, pretty clean and simple. so now lets get all of this underway. As i've talked about the page rank system before, to preserve this already amazingly high rank, i'd be doing a complete revamp of the blog and afterwards, i'd do a post a day about various interesting stuff. no more, no less, expect anime , movie, electronics and various viral news to come flying across the world to you. Movies to watch out for!

At this point of the year, the cinema scene is looking great! There's tons of good movies to look out for and i would recommend most of them as MUST WATCH!

Well, first off the list would be 

The Avengers, 

featuring superheroes such as captain america , iron man , hulk , fighting alongside other heroes and fighting against various super villans, this is one movie that appeals to me from the heart, having watched Iron Man, Captain America , this is one movie that fans of previous installations should not miss, so yeah, keep an eye out for it, it'd be great! 

next up would probably be

Ghost Rider, Spirit of Vengeance,

yet another movie with a hero in it, albeit the darkest hero the world has ever known, Ghost Rider is once again back on the big screen, with fiery fx effects and awesome stunts! If you enjoyed the first one , this installation would be something you would HAVE to see! This movie, is one not to be missed, if action is your type , that is. 

Next up would be Hunger Games.

This is a movie that was created from a book. many books infact, infact it has had about 3-4 books now and if the first book-made-movie turns out well, you could be seeing the other sequels being turned into movies just as how the entire harry potter series had been.The Hunger Games is one big epic survival story. an exhilarating and adventurous tale of love and survival, if you like things like that then, you'd like this one, although less action filled that Avengers, its in a different league of its own and is once again, highly recommended!

Other movies to look out for would be  Iron Sky and Battleships, trailers pictured below respectively

Time to get back to work!

For many of us, Janurary is a hectic month, after days and weeks and months of slacking off, it really is hard to get back to our day to day activities, adjusting to the long hours and early mornings really take a whole lot of effort , and sometimes it doesnt even feel worth all of it. Aside from that rant, after months and months of break, i'm glad to announce that i'd be writing again for the blog about all stuff under the sun, with emphasis on movies and well, generally cool stuff. Aside from that, the internet really has changed alot since i last wrote something, nowadays memes are popular and mainstream and yeah, i might even use memes to convey a story or two , since they're so easy to understand and LOL at. so yeah, here's cheers to another year of randomness!

Movie Frenzy!

This summer sure has seen the release of much anticipated blockbusters such as Transformers Dark of The Moon or Transformers 3. it is a sequel or prequel to Transformers Revenge of The Fallen // Transformers 2. featuring Shia Leabouf once again as the hero, earth yet again encounters dangers of a alien source , the earth once again faces a huge threat and Optimus prime is primed to save the earth from a future of salvation. hopefully i've not revealed too much and yeah, its  another awesome movie by Michael Bay. Ratings 4.7//5

Yet another one of these highly anticipated blockbusters is Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows Part 2. well, that sure was a mouthful, Its the second installment of HP 7 and the last chapter of the Harry Potter franchise.
Once again, Harry is once again Daniel Radcliffe , Hermoine is Enma Watson and Ron is Rupert Grint. This time around, they journey across the continent 
looking for hocruxes in a bid to destroy Voldemort once and for all

After a few minutes of intense wizardrly  Harry saves the day, Ron gets the girl and they live happily ever after. at least until Voldemort respawns....














I could go on and on and on about this but here's a list of the movies

Android

Hello World. I cant begin to brag about how nice and epic Android is. In short, its the spiritual successor to the iOS of the IPhone. I believe that in a few years or so Android will in fact become The.staple system of smartphones.This can be shown as more and more apps and games from the Apps Store have already infact been ported over to the Android Market.


Besides, the greatest pull would be the difference in pricing. The iPhone 4 is about $700 with contract where i live while some other Android phones with similar specifications cost a measly $150 in fact i would daresay that Android has some pretty nice specs in regards to the iPhone the easiest to spot would be the Bluetooth functionality and of course the oh so epic Android logo :D 


On a side note i might be a little bit bias towards the iPhone as I myself have bought a Samsung Galaxy Ace with the Android  2.3 Froyo. All you iPhone users out there i suggest you read through slowly before giving too much negative criticism.

Anyways i decided to do my own little version of the 
hope you will enjoy it! - might be applicable for iPhones too.

What exactly is this app? well its actually an app that allows you to take photos in modes which is really very much fun. at the moment im not sure if there's a full version but the one i'm using has 5 different modes, Toy Cam ,Polaroid, Fish eye,SymmetriCam and Warhol oh and of course the good old grey scale and stuff . best part of this deal? yes you guessed it , totally FREE~!

You may have very well guessed the gist of this App but basically, this app is one heck of a miracle-google-music-search-thing. Well this app actually identifies music by recording it at a click of a button then matching it up with the songs on it servers, it actually works pretty darn well as i have tested it on some obscure songs, yes i do have obscure songs.. the only one thing i do not like about this is that it needs an internet connection which means Wifi/3G :{

Anime watch and flash player 
wait. thats another combo.. yeap , another combo this time its because these two come hand in hand, this might be quite the bias-ed app. just forgive me already okay! Well as an Anime lover, this is realllly useful for me and yeah, what it actually does is like what any anime website does, give you links to the latest anime updates and yeah, these links to videos pretty much work on my phone, but do remember to have flash player installed, P.S iPhone users, no flash for you~

wait. drop what? well the main reason this is #1 is because its really quite the handy app, you install a version of it on your com, and another on your Android phone, make a account, sync it and whenever you throw something in the folder on the com, it will appear on you phone! no need for wire to transfer files !~  [whenever means when it syncs,wadya think, miracle software?]

somehow i had forgotten to include this amazing app! frankly this should have came with Android but yeah. what this app does is that is actually makes a carousel like circle tabbing thing, its a really fun and amazing tool and looks great too, one of the best shortcut-ish apps you'll ever use. watch the demo in the video later on :D

Touch Phone! VINTAGE~ FEATURED POST!

As i was digging around my house today and cleaning/tidying my house i found an amazing thing. the thing was a touchphone buried deep within the chasms of some old books and useless wires. It looked strange and weird but it was bearing the name touchphone. I was immediatedly fascinated and looked at it wondering how it worked. well it was something like a walkie talkie. i dont really know the range or details of it but basically you "TOUCH" the buttons and talk and when i say touch i mean touch as in touch screen touch. It basically felt like a laptop's mousepad but yeah its old and vintage. not to mention rare. do a google search on touch phone and you'll understand what i mean. So basically i was touching something Hi-tech from my Gramp's age and it still worked albeit a few minor "disfunctions". to get a clearer view check out the pictures I have taken and uploaded. vintage eh? 

MEGAMIND

Hi folks ! It has been a reallly long time since I last posted but do forgive me .
I had been engrossed in Luffy's Adventures in One Piece , you really should try it
Anyways back on topic, i had just recently went to watch the movie MEGAMIND and i was quite literally blown away! It has a better storyline than despicable me and looks very very good to say the least.
So yeah im gona do a review of it and do be aware of spoilers along the way . o
MEGAMIND was released in cinemas all over the world on the 5th of november and shook the world to its core with its incredible plot and totally changed the traditional Good Vs Evil concept . It is currently #1 in the US  BOX OFFICE and was directed by Tom Graff and starred Brad Pitt, Tina Fey,Jonah Hill and Will Ferret as voice actors. Produced by Dreamworks Animation and Red Hour Productions
The story revolves around Megamind  who is voiced by Will Ferret dealing with Metroman voiced by Brad Pitt ever since they were borned. At the start of the movie the megamind and metroman are shown as babies and the last survivors of their planets sent off to earth . Following that metroman was adopted by a rich family while megamind landed in prision where he had gotten bad influence . Metroman and megamind were then sent to the same school where megamind was despised. After a timeskip, they both have grown older and they started fighting with each other, megamind had used a death ray and supposedly killed metroman but metroman had used that as a reason to escape his heroic life and became a musican in hiding.After awhile megamind starts getting bored and sad as he has nobody to challenge him anymore and decides to make a hero to fight him called titan, the plan backfires and megamind was forced to defeat titan himself with help from Metroman's old girlfriend which has started to date with megamind's alter ego bernard and so megamind became the town's hero with metroman silently congratulation him. Epic YouTube Secret.

Basically, this secret was released a few hours ago and made known to the world by an amazing guy.
Well, this secret actually ALLOWS you to play SNAKE yes snake the game. From what i know only videos with no annotations will work. So this is what you do to access that function. let a video buffer and run for awhile, then pause it and push it back to the start of the video then hold down or press the left arrow key. a snake will appear and have fun! :D dont understand what im saying? watch this video below. Katekyo Hitman !Reborn

Thing is, this anime is like super famous now. at least 30% of my classmates are watching it. Holy Sht. i tried an episode and liked it immediatedly. it rocks but its VERYVERY LONG with 3 seasons and about 200 episodes so far.. Its story line is kinda strange and unique with it being kinda funny with lotsa stuff.

Well the main storyline is something along training a normal kid to become a top mafia boss with lotsa humor. +100 :D SWT anime

Today is yet another sad day for microsoft, they have taken down yet another one of their phones, the Kin.
which was targeted at teenagers with the main focus on it for socialization.

Harry Potter & the Deathly Hallows

Sweeeeeeet. well for some, the last and final part of the Harry Potter trilogy from J.K Rowling is going to be on the big screen FINALLY! Thing is, it'll be presented in 2 parts and the 2 parts are like 1 year apart. but Harry Potter's awesome and you have to wait for good things right? Well, here's the trailer

Oh and from what i gather,  Part 1 going to be released on 19th novemeber 2010 in the USA and lotsa other countries but there's no info on singapore yet and part 2 well... according to the trailer its somewhere in 2011.
and this time round the director is David Yates with the same old cast,

Well, this first week of the new term so far has really sucked for me.. first my laptop which was working fine the night before had some error after i returned from school and the only people who would touch my laptop was my bro.. and they're still denying it. so my laptop is spoiled.

now, my fan has been spoiled too, same scenerio as above ^^ and this time even weirder.. something from my fan is missing, the part is so big that it couldnt have disappear when my fan slammed into the floor, so obviously somebody stole that vital part of the fan..

so FCUK this. i hate this week... no fan = hot and sweaty zzzzzzzzzzzzz

Kinect/Natale

Hi, if you have been an avid follower of my blog you would know about the up and coming Xbox addon called the Kinect. It was called Project Natal in its developement stages but now its offically named as the kinect. Apparently, it is a "thing" that works like the Nintendo Wii but WITHOUT any controllers so yeah, you can jus "pretend" to drive a car by forming the shape of a steering wheel and turning. Cool eh? So here's the latest news, the Kinect is likely to cost quite alot.. USD$150 was the last estimated price, but there is a rumor going around that microsoft will try to sell it at cost price, maybe even below cost price as it actually costs them alot of money to build the kinect. So lets just pray that it'll be cheap and there will be fun games lined up for it. Besides, the kinect and the new xbox will look very cool beside each other :D            

Swim-ing

So yeah, you wanna swim? your good at swimming you say? well you might want to avoid this swimming pool. Its in Singapore believe it or not, 55 storeys up, this infinity pool could glide you straight over the edge of Singapore, if not the world. It's part of the $6 billion Marina Bay Sands Skypark hotel, which just opened this week. Oh and this is now the most expensive hotel in the world, the previous record owner was an Abu Dhabi's Emirates Palace Hotel which had cost only $3 billion to build back in the 2004's.
